Every piece begins by hand and develops through process rather than repetition.
No moulds are reused to recreate existing works. Once a piece leaves the studio, it remains one of one.

One of one
I still take custom jobs for unique designs and specific sizes if needed, guided by the buyer's direction and my design process.
I founded ILYA to explore the relationship between refinement and imperfection.
Working from my studio in the English countryside, every piece begins with traditional jewellery techniques before being shaped through experimentation. Rather than chasing perfect symmetry, I allow process to leave its mark. Molten metal, erosion, texture and contrast become part of the final form rather than something to remove.
Influenced by the philosophy of wabi sabi, my work embraces the beauty found in irregularity and the passage of time. Each piece is approached individually, allowing the materials to guide the outcome. No two surfaces develop in exactly the same way, giving every work its own character.
Every piece is handcrafted using recycled sterling silver and responsibly sourced gold before being hallmarked in London.
ILYA exists to create contemporary jewellery that feels lasting, tactile and quietly distinctive.
